Luka Dončić set the tone for the Lakers' season opener and never needed the fourth quarter to do it. With one second left in the first half against Golden State, the Lakers star catches a pass from Jake LaRavia and lets a deep three-pointer fly right at the buzzer. Dončić finished with 28 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals in three quarters, going 5-of-12 from deep and 9-of-9 at the line with a team-best plus-31, as Los Angeles beat the Warriors 127-105 on October 21, 2026.
