Having already dialed up this connection for six once in the first quarter of this matchup between the Jaguars and Jets, Mac Jones and Brian Thomas Jr. decided that it was time to reconnect for another score early in the fourth quarter. Dropping back to pass, Jones fired one over the middle to Thomas, who hauled it in and darted away from two nearby defenders to get into the end zone for a 19-yard score that took the lead. Thomas and Jones showed great chemistry throughout this one, connecting for a total of 10 catches and 105 yards, with two going for touchdowns. Jones threw for a total of 294 yards on the day, but Jacksonville would go on to fall in this one, 32-25, on Dec. 15, 2024.
