Geno Smith

It’s unclear as to if Geno Smith still isn’t “writing back,” but one thing is for certain: the former Comeback Player of the Year’s Chapter One in Las Vegas couldn’t have been penned any better. Intent on a sizzling-hot start in his new threads, Smith wasted little time, rainbowing a 26-yard dime downfield to secure an opening-drive touchdown. Excellence certainly didn’t stop there, as Smith threw for 362 yards — the second-most across Week 1’s slate — alongside one touchdown on 24-of-34 passing, as the Raiders conquered the New England Patriots for a 20-13 win on Sept. 7, 2025.
