Teams across the NFL’s landscape speak openly about the desire to start a new season off on the right foot, and over the early-September stretch, few did it better than Zaven Collins and the Cardinals. Calm amidst a chaotic 3rd & 7 that encouraged Arizona to send pass rushers in abundance, Collins complemented his teammate’s strip sack flawlessly by rolling his way into the endzone on a scoop-and-score sequence. Collins’ heads-up play helped inspire a 27-22 win over the postseason-bound Carolina Panthers on Sept. 24, 2025, a highwater mark win that pushed the Cards to a 2-0 start.
