Will Anderson

To call oneself an “elite pass rusher,” it’s arguable that there are two scenarios — among many — in which your presence must be felt: in crunchtime, and on third-and-long. Week 2’s Monday Night Football matchup offered Houston’s Will Anderson Jr. the opportunity to check both boxes at once, as he escorted Tampa Bay’s elusive quarterback to the astroturf on a late-game 3rd & 8. Anderson’s clutch play allowed the Texans to battle as valiantly as one could in a final-second 20-19 loss to the Buccaneers on Sept. 15, 2025. Setting the stage for the Defensive Player of the Year-caliber season to come, he closed with one sack, four tackles, a QB hit, and three pressures.
