Should anyone have been curious about just how quickly a franchise’s fortunes can flip after a perfectly-strategized NFL Draft, they need not look any further than Bobby Wagner and the 2012 Seahawks. Seattle selected two players that went on to become 10-time Pro Bowlers, and for Wagner, superstar potential was evident from the jump, as he routinely overwhelmed the Cardinals’ offense during a two-interception demonstration. Blending his “always right-place-right-time” instincts with the reaction time to match, Wagner helped catapult Seattle into a 58-0 win over Arizona, the franchise’s largest victory margin to date. Working hand-in-hand with his “Legion of Boom” teammates, Wagner energized the playoff-bound Seahawks through an eight-tackle, two-takeaway effort on Dec. 9, 2012.
